For those who suffer periodic heartburn, prevention can be the key to having a good day. Heartburn symptoms – be aware of them

Heartburn symptom may keep you from enjoying a good home cooked meal, your favorite spicy cuisine, and enjoying a glass or two of wine when you attend a party. Heartburn symptom can not only be discomfiting, but it can be annoying, especially if you experience persistent heartburn symptom.

The most common heartburn symptom is acid regurgitation which is experienced as a burning sensation in the top of the throat. You may also feel like you have a lump in your throat, or as if you had something stuck in there.

If you are having heartburn symptom more than twice a week, you may have GERD. This stands for gastroesophageal reflux disease, and if left untreated can cause serious medical conditions.
